Our MBA students combine personal funds, employer sponsorships, outside resources, admissions MBA scholarships, and loans through Emory University's Office of Financial Aid to help realize their education goals.

More Than $40 Million in New Scholarships

Emory University’s Goizueta Business School has recently doubled down on its longstanding priority to drive scholarship funding to attract the best and brightest students. Student scholarships are a key fundraising priority of its capital campaign, and Goizueta has already secured more than $41 million in new scholarship donations with three more years of the campaign remaining.

Scholarships & Fellowships

The MBA Admissions Committee awards MBA scholarships and fellowships to domestic and international admitted students based on academic achievement, quality of work experience, demonstrated leadership, and extracurricular activities. MBA scholarships typically range from partial to full tuition plus stipend. For merit-based awards, all completed applications submitted by Round 3 are automatically considered—no additional application is needed. Those interested in being considered for named scholarships should submit their completed applications by Round 2.

Goizueta Scholars

Roberto C. Goizueta established The Goizueta Foundation in 1992 to provide financial assistance to educational and charitable institutions. In creating The Goizueta Foundation, he sought to acknowledge his indebtedness to this country and to continue the commitment to philanthropic endeavors that has symbolized the leadership of The Coca-Cola Company for more than a century. The Goizueta Foundation assists organizations that empower individuals and families through educational opportunities to improve the quality of their lives.

Rosemary and John Brown Family Scholars Program

This $5 million scholarship endowment is open to graduates of Spelman College and Agnes Scott College who are accepted into a Goizueta graduate program. Scholarships are merit-based. Brown Family Scholars admitted into any of Goizueta’s graduate programs will benefit from small-by-design program classes known for a collaborative culture and highly experiential learning model. This will help scholars to formally build camaraderie and continue with mentoring and networking during the remainder of their studies.

Emory's Office of Financial Aid

Our MBA degrees offer students a better professional and financial future. Knowing the financial commitment is significant, Emory University's Financial Aid Office is committed to assisting students with the process of obtaining the financial resources necessary to pursue a Goizueta MBA.

A variety of student loans are available for both domestic and international students. Students can borrow up to the budgeted cost of attendance less any scholarships. Some of these loans include:

MBA students may apply and interview with a faculty member for an assistantship position which would begin in the spring semester. These positions are paid hourly and include research, teaching assistantships and administrative positions.

Center for Alternative Investments Fellows

The Center for Alternative Investments (CAI) focuses on developing research and information, providing education and building community with respect to several areas of alternative investments, including private equity, hedge funds, venture capital and real estate value. Students have the opportunity to take advantage of the center's extensive alumni network and internship program abroad.

Social Enterprise Fellows

The Business & Society Institute makes markets work for more people in more places in more ways. Fellows have access to executive mentoring, opportunities to participate in business & society fieldwork projects, a membership to Atlanta's Center for Civic Innovation, a stipend to attend a social enterprise-related conference and financial support if they choose to work for a social enterprise as a summer intern.

The Roberto C. Goizueta Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation Fellows

The Entrepreneurship Fellows Program recognizes Goizueta Business School students who BOTH exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset (whether starting their own business or innovating at a company) AND demonstrate commitment to the Goizueta entrepreneurship initiative. Those selected as fellows have access to the necessary hands-on education, exposure, and experiences to develop their capabilities as life-long entrepreneurs.

Global Strategy Fellows

Global Strategy Fellows work to expand the influence of Goizueta's strategic priorities through collaborations with institutional partners. Fellows receive experiential learning opportunities focused on global innovation and Global Strategy Directed Study in the fall semester (3 credit hours) among other benefits.

Goizueta Healthcare Fellows

Goizueta Healthcare Fellows spearhead extracurricular events and education for students interested in the business of healthcare. This includes the Healthcare 20.40 Futuring Competition and participation in other case competitions as well as creating a culture of shared learning though collaborations with Goizueta clubs and non-MBA Emory programs.

Marketing & Communications Fellows

Marketing & Communications Fellows help deliver successful storytelling that highlights the many incredible aspects of the MBA student experience at Emory. They help current students and faculty share their stories so that prospective students can view Emory through the eyes of those already here.

Review Fellowship Opportunities & Applications

Yellow Ribbon Program

Goizueta Business School is proud to have been a Yellow Ribbon partner school since 2009. The Yellow Ribbon Program is a provision of the Post 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008 (aka Chapter 33), and students must first be eligible for the Post 9/11 GI Bill. Please contact the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to see if you are eligible and to request a Certificate of Eligibility (COE). According to the VA, you must use your full GI Bill funding before Yellow Ribbon funding is used.

Goizueta Business School provides up to 50 Yellow Ribbon awards per year for up to $25,100 annually, which is matched by the Veterans Administration. Candidates eligible for Yellow Ribbon funding will also be considered for merit-based scholarships.

United States Military Academy Fellowships

Goizueta offers up to three fellowships to One-Year MBA students who are stationed as admissions staff at the USMA, West Point. This program, offered in collaboration between the USMA and Goizueta Business School, provides the balance of tuition for selected recipients.

Goizueta Business School Military Fellowships

The Goizueta Business School Military Fellowship recognizes one or more current Goizueta MBA students with a fellowship and financial stipend up to $10,000 for each student to serve in a formal role to support the Goizueta Business School in its military recruiting efforts for all graduate level programs (MBA, MS Business Analytics, Master of Analytical Finance).

Goizueta Military Scholarship

The Goizueta Military Scholarship provides funding support to active-duty military or veterans enrolled in any Goizueta degree program. The funding amount and number of scholarships awarded varies each year.

Military Consortium

To demonstrate our support of military applicants, Goizueta is associated with the Military Consortium, an organization under the umbrella of The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Through this association, we offer the following benefits for applicants with military experience:

Waived application fee for military persons who have been on active duty within three years of applying.
A one-year deferment if an admitted military student’s plans are delayed by their service branch.
Applications from deployed military personnel are accepted after our standard application deadlines.
