All students participate in Keystone — our signature learning experience packed with personal development, community service projects, and social activities. Keeping Everyone at Goizueta Social

Keeping Everyone at Goizueta Social, also known as KEGS, is a longstanding tradition at Goizueta. Each Thursday, students from across all of Goizueta's programs gather on Patterson Green for music, food, beverages, and fun. Each week is sponsored by a different student group creating an opportunity to not only unwind and network but also learn about new engagement opportunities.
Keystone

Pause, Reflect, and Give Back

Every August, MBA students unite on campus for a week of activities called Keystone, which serves as a bridge between where students have been in the program and where they’ll go in the future. The week combines, celebration, reflection, and community and includes writing a letter to your future self (to be opened in 5 years) and community service (this past year resulted in 389 hours of service to 11 organizations in Atlanta).
Common Reads

Ally Education Series

The Ally Education Series provides a forum for self-education and a safe space for honest dialogue for those seeking to be allies. Through common book reads, faculty, staff, alumni, and students will explore a range of topics including understanding stereotypes and unconscious bias, becoming effective allies, and developing anti-racism mindsets. Each book reading will have multiple small group dialogue sessions with faculty and staff advisors who have attending training sessions to be effective facilitators.

Supporting Women in Business

Goizueta's LeadHERship Program delivers a range of large-group signature events and more intimate workshops throughout the year to create a bonded community and strengthen your professional network among women in business (fellow MBA students, Goizueta alumni, and executives in the region).
Out in Business

Together in Pride

For years, Goizueta has hosted “Out in Business,” a panel during which alumni can share their experiences about being out–or not–in the workplace with current students and LGBTQ+ allies. Along with the Goizueta Pride Alliance, students, faculty, staff, and alumni come together each October for Atlanta Pride festivities. Atlanta Pride is one of the oldest and largest pride festivals in the United States.
MBA Wellness Habits Program

Mind & Body Health

This program focuses on building an MBA community fostering peak physiological performance, mental health, and a deep sense of belonging that equips leaders for a lifetime of health and success in business and beyond. Providing a range of wellness activities and resources (including well-being and performance advisors), students who participate will build healthy social connections and healthy behaviors related to movement and exercise, sleep, and nutrition.
Global Grub Dinners

Cultural Dinner Series

To be culturally competent, students must take into account the values and etiquettes of those around them. Over shared meals students have conversations about the different cultures and heritages represented within Goizueta’s cohorts. Each meal represents a different country and is led by a current student from the country chosen.

Student Clubs & Activities

Your time in this program is about growing as a person, building on your professional foundation, and enjoying every minute of it. Our 60 student-run clubs and interest groups are a great way to go beyond the coursework and take advantage of the full Goizueta experience.

Taking Flight: A Goizueta Leadership Series

Taking Flight: A Goizueta Leadership Series is a student-led initiative designed to connect MBA students with influential leaders across industries. The series provides a platform for candid, insightful conversations on leadership, career growth, and personal development, helping students gain real-world perspectives from accomplished professionals.

Alumni Mentor Program

The Goizueta Mentor Program matches students with alumni mentors based on their areas of professional interest. Together the student and mentor can take part in year-round activities, such as mentor roundtables, Goizueta leadership speaker events, on-the-job shadowing, class visits, and casual outings.

Case Competitions

Case competitions give students the chance to practice business leadership through solving problems in a team-based environment. These competitions reflect the competitive nature of the business world, and allow students to bring all of their learning to the competition. Students with strong academic records and superior communication skills are sought after for our teams, which have met with great success in recent years.

The makeup of the international student body at Goizueta reflects our strong commitment to providing a global experience for all students to actively learn from each other about the interplay of cultural, political, and business practices around the world.

All international applicants must submit a completed application which includes: transcripts with a seal from the issuing institution from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended, a current résumé, official GMAT or GRE scores, TOEFL scores (if applicable), two recommendations, essays, and the application fee. Applications are not reviewed until these criteria are met.

All MBA applicants, domestic and international, are eligible for scholarships and fellowships.

STEM Degree

All of Goizueta's MBA programs are STEM designated. Most international students on a student F-1 visa have the option to obtain work experience following the completion of their degree through a program called Optional Practical Training (OPT). OPT is a form of training – often paid – that relates to your field of study. You can apply for OPT while still in school (“pre-completion OPT”), or after you earn your degree (“post-completion OPT”).

In addition to the normal Optional Practical Training (OPT) period of 12 months, a STEM-designated degree allows for a 24-month extension of post-completion OPT, offering a total eligibility of up to 36 months.
