The Goizueta Executive Women’s Leadership Program focuses on critical skills and competencies proven to elevate individual capability and confidence, to help women leaders contribute to organizational value creation. The program provides an opportunity for women leaders to enhance their strategic thinking, develop an enterprise mindset, hone self-awareness and leadership behaviors, and emerge ready to contribute more strategically and exert greater influence within their organizations.

Women at the mid-to-senior level and above, with 7+ years of experience (10+ preferred), with the potential and desire to expand their reputation as a strategic leader, elevate the leadership of their teams, and build influence and impact across their organization and industry.

An Integrated Hybrid Learning Journey

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution
  • Over seven years of professional experience (10+ years preferred)
  • Mid-to-senior level professionals ready to move into a more strategic role 
  • Managerial or project management experience (strongly preferred)
  • Understand and respect the value of a diverse group with different perspectives 
  • Prepared to actively engage and contribute with an open mind
  • Willing and able to stay overnight/on-site for the Module 1 dates and Module 3 dates at the Emory Conference Center Hotel

How It Works

In the Goizueta Executive Women’s Leadership Program, you’ll examine the power of storytelling, develop a personal leadership narrative, and discover how you can leverage your own story to drive your organization’s culture, strategy, and direction. Join your peers in this dynamic Emory Executive Education program to discover the role executive narrative plays in leading organizations and inspiring high-performing teams. This 2-month hybrid, immersive development experience allows women leaders to clearly understand how they create value, craft a corresponding, compelling narrative, and increase leadership impact.
Executive Women's Leadership Program
  • Pre-Work

    Participants will complete the Business DNA Behavior Insights Assessment and assigned case study/article readings.
  • Module 1

    Walk through the program learning journey and experience an engaging activity integrating the DNA Behavior assessment. Broaden your strategic and enterprise perspective to elevate readiness for taking on greater levels of responsibility. Learn critical frameworks to define your vision for yourself, your team, and your organization. Explore foundational elements for linking strategy to execution and performance.
  • Module 2

    Strengthen your ability to build influence and inspire others by developing fully articulated leadership and strategic narratives. Enhance your ability to communicate, collaborate & influence. Explore gender-based negotiation strategies to drive desired outcomes.
  • Module 3

    Expand self-awareness, resilience and empathy through the lens of emotional intelligence. Learn proven strategic relationship-building strategies that expand networks both inside and outside the organization.
  • Evening Experiences

    During Module 3 conducted at Goizueta Business School, network with Program alumnae in an early evening panel discussion and reception followed by an inspiring interaction with the Atlanta Master Chorale to experience a values-driven high performing team in action. Celebrate your journey the following evening with a private graduation dinner.
  • Tell Your Story

    Experience the Executive Narrative Capstone to hone your story.
  • Reinforcement Activities

    Three hours of one-on-one executive coaching along with the powerful Business DNA assessment debrief, scheduled at your convenience; mid-year gathering to re-energize and connect with your cohort and other Executive Women’s Leadership Program alumnae; and invitations to special learning and networking events.
