Course FAQs
This course is best suited for experienced, trained coaches and does not include education on how to coach.
Coaches do not need to be a graduate of the Emory Coaching program to participate.
Participants do not need to be a certified coach but should be an experienced coach interested in updating or drafting a business plan.
This course is targeted for people who want to start or build their own coaching business as a business owner. This could be as a full-time coaching business or as a side hustle coaching business.
If you’re an internal coach as part of your work as an W2 employee within a company (rather than as a coach who owns their own coaching business), this is likely not the course for you unless you’re exploring launching your own coaching business in the future.
The Business of Coaching webinar is a high-level introduction to having a coaching business. This series will go deeper and giving participants an opportunity to really think through these issues, develop and pressure test their thinking, and start to create how they will build their business.
Coaches do not need to have a current business plan only a desire to create one.
