Goizueta Global
Step out of the classroom and into the world. Faculty-led, weeklong global study trips punctuates the global perspective emphasized throughout the Goizueta curriculum. During your Global Experiential Module (GEM), you will explore a current topic within the context of an international setting and engage in company visits, meetings with business and government leaders, and cultural activities that provide a vantage point unattainable from the classroom.
One-Year MBA
Most One-Year MBA students will spend time in Denmark in August as part of the The Happiness Blueprint: Life Design for the Modern MBA, in which they will explore how to create a life where career success and personal well-being thrive together. They can then choose to participate in a second Global Experiential Module with the location determined by student interest.
In addition to the Denmark GEM, students in the Global MBA will spend their spring break in Mexico City. They will learn with classmates from around the world directly from Mexican professors and business leaders, gaining first-hand insight into the country’s economic, cultural, and social landscape. They will also explore industries driving Mexico’s growth—from technology and healthcare to entertainment and media—and see how global forces intersect with local innovation.
Students in the Real Estate MBA will participate in a global immersion experience that gives them a firsthand understanding of how markets, capital flows, and development strategies vary across international contexts. Through direct engagement with industry leaders and exposure to global best practices, students gain insight into the forces shaping real estate worldwide.
Two-Year MBA
Two-Year MBA students may choose between two Global Experiential Module options that take place in May: exploring how to create a life where career success and personal well-being thrive together in Denmark or exploring an innovative Asian economy in Japan.
