Biography

Maoyu Zhang joined Emory University’s Goizueta Business School as a Postdoctoral Associate in September 2024, where she is advised by Professor Emma Jingfei Zhang. Before that, she was a visiting scholar at Goizueta from April 2023 to August 2024. Her research interests involve the statistical analysis of networks, graphs, and tensor data, with applications in business, neuroscience, and social science. She is also interested in statistical depth and its applications.

Maoyu Zhang received her Ph.D. in Statistics from the Institute of Statistics and Big Data at Renmin University of China in June 2024. Prior to that, she received her B.S. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, and Economics from Central China Normal University in June 2019.
