Leading Boldly into the Future
Several of our PhD students are using their research to solve the complex issues of today and beyond. For Sarah Lee, a Business PhD candidate, her research tackles the effect of culture and society on perceptions of leaders in the United States, particularly around the underrepresentation of Asian Americans, also known as the “bamboo ceiling”. Lee also makes the connection between one’s external environment and the perception of out-group individuals based on racial and socioeconomic demographics.
