Humberto García-Sjögrim

Group Director, The Coca-Cola Company

Everyone knows that Coca-Cola is more than just a soft drink. The Atlanta-based, international corporation is also a philanthropic giant that goes beyond the bottom line through The Coca-Cola Foundation—a charitable organization started in 1984 by Roberto C. Goizueta. Now, as a Goizueta grad, Humberto Garcia-Sjogrim carries the legacy of this school’s founder as vice president of Latin Affairs at the Coca-Cola Company. In this role, Humberto strengthens connections with the Hispanic community as he develops and manages relationships with key local, state, and national Hispanic political, business, civic, and community leaders. It was his experience at Goizueta—rolling up his sleeves, working on projects outside of the classroom, creating bonds with fellow students, staff members, faculty, alumni and business leaders of Atlanta—that helped him craft his leadership style, and cultivate his passion for creating cultural change. “Coca-Cola is and always has been for everyone,” says Humberto. “We celebrate the diversity of our associates and the communities we serve.”

Kathryn Marsh-Soloway

As program coordinator for the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, Kathryn Marsh-Soloway knew perhaps more than most applicants about the inspiring vision of our benefactor. Each day, she walks past the words of Roberto C. Goizueta: “The cynics will tell you that the good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow. I’m telling you, do it anyway.” And Kathryn does.
