Biography

Kyeongbin ('KB') Kim is a Quantitative Marketing PhD candidate at Emory University Goizueta Business School. She is interested in solving business problems using methods in economics, computer science, and statistics. Her research projects have mainly focused on customer base analysis, using large-scale credit card transactional data and user-level mobile location tracking data. Research interests include the causal impact of program or policy on customer behavior, prediction of customer purchase processes and resulting brand performance in marketing-finance interface, consumer privacy, and information integration from multiple data sources in general. She earned a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in statistics from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. Prior to graduate school, she worked as an analyst at the government specializing in macroeconomy and international finance.
