You will gain hands on experience completing a client project (using real data to solve a real problem for a real company) and can choose between tracks in Business Analytics, AI in Business, Marketing Analytics, or Supply Chain Analytics.
Admissions Details
Students must indicate their interest in the MSBA/MBA dual degree at the time of application. We consider GPA, work experience, essays, recommendations test scores, and interview when evaluating candidates. If a student is accepted to both programs, they will begin their academic experience in the One-Year MBA program in May.
Candidates should have two years of professional work experience if interested in pursuing the dual MSBA/MBA degree.
Applicants to the MSBA/MBA program at Goizueta Business School are required to take the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) unless they meet one or more of the criteria below, which will be confirmed by submitting a Test Waiver. Valid MCAT or LSAT scores will also be accepted.
- Emory graduates who receive a 3.0 GPA or higher cumulative GPA
- Non-Emory, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) majors with a 3.5 (4.0 scale) or higher cumulative GPA from an accredited college or university
- A master’s or doctorate in a STEM field with a 3.0 (4.0 scale) or higher GPA and a minimum grade of B (or equivalent) in Statistics.
- Student submitting international transcripts from universities that do not grade on a 4.0 scale are encouraged to submit a WES evaluation. If you do not have a WES evaluation, the admissions committee may request one.
MSBA/MBA Test Waiver Process
If an MSBA/MBA applicant meets the criteria above, Goizueta Business School provides them the opportunity to request a test waiver from the standardized test requirement. To apply for a test waiver, complete the Test Waiver Application and submit all supporting documents. Decisions are released within approximately 10 to 14 business days. This Test Waiver Application is only valid for the 2025-2026 admissions cycle.

Goizueta provides free practice tests for the GMAT and GRE. Take a full practice test or choose a specific section.
Every applicant who submits a completed application by the Round 3 deadline and is admitted to Goizueta is automatically reviewed for merit-based, school-funded scholarships. No separate application is required; merit-based awards typically range from 20% to full tuition.
