In his role, Dillon will manage a portfolio of major and principal gift prospects and help develop and implement strategies to increase philanthropic support for the School's near- and long-term strategic priorities. Additionally, Dillon will work closely with the central advancement offices and other AAE colleagues to maximize cultivation, solicitation and stewardship opportunities for alumni, parents, companies and other constituents.
A former collegiate student-athlete and native of Georgia, Dillon most recently served as Philanthropy Officer at the University of Miami Patti and Allan Herbert Business School, a position he has held since December 2018. In his role at Miami Herbert, Dillon was responsible for managing a major gift portfolio as well as leading in establishing a new culture of philanthropy under the headship of the dean, executive director and central's senior leadership. Dillon began his tenure at the University of Miami in 2013 and served in progressively responsible leadership roles on the Miami Athletics development team. Before arriving in Miami, Dillon worked in athletic development at the University of Virginia from 2012 to 2013 and the University of Kentucky from 2011 to 2012. He earned his bachelor's degree from Georgetown College in 2011 and his master's degree from the University of Miami in 2016.
Dillon is an avid golfer, aspiring yogi, culinary arts enthusiast and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
