Emory University Goizueta Business School and HYP Global Education have launched the Pre-Master Boot Camp (PMBC), a strategic partnership program for international students seeking to pursue a master’s degree at Goizueta Business School.

Participating Degree Programs

The Pre-Master Boot Camp with HYP Global Education is designed to help streamline admission into the selected Master's program by providing students with the fundamental knowledge and skill set necessary to succeed in graduate-level study. Upon completion of this program with a final grade of B or higher, candidates will be designated Goizueta PMBC Preferred Applicants for admission to their chosen graduate program.

PMBC Courses

The Pre-Master Boot Camp (PMBC) is a cohort-based, 10–12-week online program offered each Spring and Fall, typically beginning in February and September. Students complete three foundation courses while participating in three to five live sessions each week, with classes scheduled on weekday evenings and weekends to accommodate different schedules.

The program combines a structured learning management system with comprehensive student support to foster academic readiness and independent learning. Throughout the program, coordinators, teaching assistants, and instructors provide one-on-one advising and actionable feedback, helping students monitor their progress, strengthen their academic skills, and prepare for graduate-level study.

The foundation courses will help students in academic development and prepare them for success in their future graduate studies in business:

  • BUS 01 Data Analytics with Python and R 
  • BUS 02 Quantitative Methods for Business 
  • BUS 03 Introduction to Financial and Managerial Accounting 
  • BUS 04 AI-Empowered Business Research 
  • ECON 01 Principles of Economics

BUS 01 and BUS 02 are core courses assigned to all PMBC students and BUS 03, BUS 04, and ECON 01 will be assigned based on students’ academic backgrounds and preparation needs.
