Biography

Michelle was drawn to Emory for the unique opportunity to explore the liberal arts while being immersed in a renowned business program. Her four years at Emory were marked by captivating business, art, and language classes, coupled with unparalleled opportunities to get involved with finance and entrepreneurship communities – both on and off campus.

After joining the BBA Program, Michelle found an appreciation for its culture of belonging, exploration, and curiosity, as Goizueta cultivates a close-knit and personalized experience for each of its students. As BBA Council President, Michelle formed close relationships with administrators and witnessed first-hand how this culture is purposefully generated and sustained through its ever-evolving curriculum, vibrant programming, and wide array of student organizations.

Michelle grew up listening to her parents talk about their research proposals and different emerging start-ups, but she didn’t have prior exposure to Goizueta’s area depths. The BBA Program equipped her with the resources to explore her interests in entrepreneurship and finance. As a student, Michelle interned with renewable energy companies, startup accelerators, and investment banking / private equity firms, translating what she learned at Goizueta to real-world applications. Since graduating, Michelle has furthered her interests by advising founders and management teams of innovative and disruptive companies at Centerview.
