The conference focuses on strategies and tools board members can use to support their governance role in commercial nuclear electric utilities. Drawing on the diverse experiences of other board members and executives, participants will:

• Concentrate on practical ways to exercise oversight responsibilities
• Achieve a deeper understanding of the special nature of nuclear power
• Identify ways to strengthen nuclear safety culture and further the enterprise value of nuclear assets

The program begins at 6:00 p.m. on April 1, 2025 and ends approximately 1:00 p.m. on April 3, 2025. The program will take place on the campus of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

This program is for board members and director nominee of companies with nuclear electric generating assets. It is designed for all directors, not just those on committees responsible for nuclear activities. Senior corporate officers who work with company boards are also encouraged to attend. 

Industry and INPO leaders with a broad spectrum of experience and expertise in corporate management, nuclear operations, regulatory policy, oversight, and governance will conduct presentations and discussions.
