Before earning his MBA, Leighton was working as a senior microbiologist at The Coca-Cola Company, confident in his strong analytical skills, but sought to expand his focus. Seeking a well-rounded curriculum and top-flight name, Leighton chose Emory's Executive MBA program to immerse himself in courses on global economics, strategy, and managerial leadership.
