Katie Merchent is a second year MBA student at Goizueta and a University of Virginia graduate, majoring in English. Before business school, she worked at a Washington, DC area boutique investment bank as the firm’s Marketing & Communications Manager. While leading the firm’s rebranding, she discovered her passion for marketing analytics and its power to change the status quo. Katie completed a summer internship at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®) within a B2B Marketing capacity for the Luxury & Lifestyle and Entertainment Global Sales division. She is studying at HEC Paris this fall as an exchange student specializing in marketing and aims to pursue a full-time opportunity in brand management or marketing strategy.
