After working for five years as an analyst and finance manager for American Express, Ally was searching for an MBA program that would help her build a stronger foundation in analytics, and enhance her ability to ask the right questions. Thus, Emory’s Marketing Analytics Center, a research enterprise where Goizueta students interact with business leaders to address issues in marketing analytics and performance management, was a huge draw for Ally.
In her short time at Goizueta, Ally has been amazed by the degree to which alumni have extended themselves. They’ve met with her before work to discuss professional opportunities, flown to Atlanta to help her prepare for interviews at a recruitment conference, and reached out from the UK and Switzerland to offer advice regarding her upcoming internship. Says Ally, “These interactions were at the core of me earning my Amazon internship and will be core to continuing my development and achievement.”
