Joanna Harris Murphy

Joanna Harris Murphy joined Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in 2026 after completing her PhD in Financial Economics at the University of Chicago. Her research focuses on sustainable investing and the economic impacts of environmental regulation. She previously worked in the Finance Division of Columbia Business School as a Predoctoral Research Fellow and as a trader at Barclays. She also holds a BA in Economics and Statistics from the University of Chicago.
