Biography

Kore joined Goizueta Business School in October 1998 as Associate Director of MBA Student Services. In this role she planned orientation, graduation and worked with Full-Time and Evening MBA students. Over the next few years she narrowed her focus to Full-Time MBA students and eventually managed the One Year MBA student experience from 2003-2010. Additionally, Kore coordinated leadership development programming, starting in the mid-2000s with a small group of Full-Time MBA students attending a leadership program on the marine base in Quantico, VA and eventually coordinating programming and logistics for Goizueta Advanced Leadership Academy including the sailing capstone experience. Kore joined Emory’s Development and Alumni Relations department February 1, 2010 as Senior Associate Director of Development to manage class gift campaigns and annual giving. While managing the class gift program Kore realigned giving to support on-going fundraising priorities for Goizueta Business School and in 2013 raised, at the time, several landmark class gifts – the largest Full-Time MBA gift to establish a scholarship and the largest WEMBA gift to support on-going fundraising priorities. worked closely with DAR’s central annual giving department to streamline and coordinate our annual giving messages, writing direct mail solicitations and coordinating content across the school and unit. In the spring of 2016 Kore was promoted to Director of Development and served as major gift officer covering the east coast. In this role Kore solicited gifts of $25,000+ from donors. Kore worked with individuals to create programming endowments for entrepreneurship, BBA student support, and scholarships. Kore lead the proposal team and fundraising efforts for the Scholarship of Excellence, the school’s first scholarship of for underrepresented MBA students. Kore joined Goizueta IMPACT in January 2018 as Program Director. In this role she is works closely with the external community to source projects for IMPACT and engage business leaders with student teams and faculty. Over the course of the year, Kore will secure 30+ clients who will work with 50+ student teams to solve a problem of strategic importance to an organization.
