Goizueta Magazine: How is what you learned at Goizueta helping you on the job?
Hassan: My primary role is to evaluate different strategic opportunities through financial modeling and valuation methodologies. My concentrations in finance and accounting gave me the foundation and technical skills to put me at an advantage over my peers from other schools. In addition, Goizueta helped build my soft skills, such as time management, leadership, networking, and teamwork.
Goizueta Magazine: What inspired your outstanding achievements in the program?
Hassan: The recognition came as a surprise to me because every class and activity I took part in was because of my genuine interest and curiosity. The Goizueta faculty and the BBA program office also inspired me by providing backing and support. My other source of inspiration is my family. I would not have received the award for excellence without these people in my life.
Goizueta Magazine: What was the most memorable event of your time at Goizueta?
Hassan: The most memorable event for me was when we rang the NYSE closing bell from the Goizueta courtyard.
