Biography
Alex Gilkenson is a second year MBA student at Goizueta Business School concentrating in Marketing and Strategy. She grew up in Georgia and attended Georgia Tech where she studied Chemical Engineering. After graduation, she worked at Kimberly-Clark for 5 years in multiple roles. Alex started as a process engineer in LaGrange, GA supporting nonwoven material manufacturing, and then moved to Neenah, WI to try material and product development for Kimberly-Clark's Adult and Feminine Care brands. Because of this work, she has experience in problem solving, optimizing product design for consumers, and analyzing vague consumer complaint data to identify opportunities for improving product functionality. After school, her goal is to use these existing skills in combination with academic learning as a consultant. Alex is excited to be back in Atlanta where she can pick up her tennis game again and enjoy the growth and development of the city!
