Sara Kaplan

Sara Kaplan is a doctoral candidate in Organization & Management at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Sara passionately pursues providing insights for macro-level organizational theory. She is particularly interested in mission-driven organizations and their role within society. One of her current lines of research examines the factors that increase sustainability certifiers’ perceived trustworthiness and performance. Sara incorporates multiple research methods into her work, including archival data analysis and experiments. She holds a Master's of Science degree in Organizational Behavior from Queen's University at Kingston in Ontario, Canada, and a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Denver. Before pursuing an academic career, Sara provided consulting services within the telecommunications industry and was the lead data hosting pricing analyst for Epic, a major healthcare software provider.
