Biography

Tamera is a doctoral student in the Organization and Management department at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. She earned a B.A. in Psychology and African and African American Studies from the University of Rochester. Before joining the doctoral program, she worked as a Lab Manager in the Applied Behavior and Public Policy and Leadership Experiences lab and the Social Cognition and Behavior Lab at the University of Virginia. As a doctoral student, Tamera aims to study how people with underrepresented identities experience and engage with the workplace. Her research focuses on racialized language, intersectional identities, diversity, and leadership.
