New Student Checklist

Complete the Candidate Intent form located on the Status page in the Forms section of your application account.

You can pay your $500 deposit via OPUS with a US Checking or Savings Account, by Credit Card, or by Wire Transfer/Foreign Currency. Please note that it can take 2-3 business days for your admission to appear in OPUS.

  1. Obtain your OPUS ID and password here.
  2. Log in to OPUS
  3. Select the Admissions tile
  4. Select the desired program
  5. Click Pay Your Admission Deposit
  6. Select the desired Payment Method
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions

Please Note: All deposits are non-refundable. Please allow up to 24 hours for your account to be updated in OPUS. It can take up to 14 days for foreign currency payments to be processed and appear in your account. When your deposit has been received and processed, it appears in your OPUS account as a credit (-$amount) and will be applied to your first semester tuition.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition rates for the 2023-2024 academic year will be posted when available. Evening MBA tuition is charged per credit hour, and 54 credit hours are required. Semester/term tuition will vary based on the number of courses taken. Evening MBA students are typically enrolled in 6-9 credit hours per term.

Financial Aid

If you are a US Citizen or Permanent Resident you may apply for financial aid through the federal government. Our Office of Financial Aid is available to help you with this process. We suggest you start securing financial aid right away. Email the Office of Financial Aid with any questions.

International students have access to a variety of loans, including loans that do not require a US co-signer. Visit Office of Financial Aid's International Graduate Business Student Loans site for more information. Email the Office of Financial Aid with any questions.

Emory Payment Plan

Emory University Student Accounts and Billing Office offers a monthly payment plan for those students who prefer to spread their payments throughout the term. Visit the Payment Plan section of their website to learn more about the Emory Payment Plan.

Third Party Billing

If a third party is paying your tuition (for example, your employer), you will need to set up a third party billing system with Emory’s Student Accounts and Billing Office. Visit the Third Party Payment Plan section of their website for more information, or you can email questions regarding this process.

Please be advised, if your company provides tuition reimbursement in any form or pays for your tuition in advance with Third Party Billing, you should expect to be taxed for this benefit unless your company has agreed that every class you take is directly applicable to your current job. Contact your company’s human resources department for more information.

We require official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended. If you scanned in or attached a copy of your transcript at the time of your application, you now need to submit the official transcript. Please have your institutions submit your transcript(s) either directly via email or by mail.

Integrity is a core value of Goizueta Business School. As such, matriculating students are required to successfully complete a background verification to confirm your application credentials. We use Re Vera Services as the third-party provider. You will receive an email from verifications@reveraservices.com within a week of being admitted that provides the link to register and make your payment. You must initiate the Re Vera process by the deposit deadline. Once you initiate credential verification, no other action is needed. Email your admissions director with any questions.

In Spring 2023, you will receive a welcome email from the Evening MBA Program Office with instructions on how to set up your Emory email address and log into Canvas, Emory’s online course management tool. On Canvas, you will find onboarding information, important pre-onboarding assignments, and announcements from the Program Office. We recommend you start your assignments as soon as possible. 

All Emory University students need to be fully immunized prior to enrollment. You will need to submit evidence of all required immunizations through the Student Health Portal to prevent a hold on your registration. Now is a good time to review the immunization requirements, locate your vaccination record, and make an appointment with your health provider for any outstanding vaccines. Vaccination requirements and information on accessing the Student Health Portal can be found on the Emory University Student Health Services website.
