EmoryMAC offers a number of events with marketing analytics content. The target audience ranges from students, to academic researchers, to industry practitioners. Two focal events are the annual EmoryMAC Conference held each March at Goizueta Business School, and EmoryMAC Mornings offered periodically throughout the fall and spring semesters.
EmoryMAC hosts a morning breakfast on campus in which a sponsoring firm presents an analytics-based marketing problem to a group of Emory marketing faculty and students (undergraduate BBA and MBA). Students and faculty are assigned teams to work and brainstorm on proposed solutions. At the end of the session, teams report back their recommendations to the firm. This has proven to be a great vehicle for exposing students to topical problems in marketing analytics, and to gain exposure to local hiring firms.
Recent participants include Turner Broadcasting and the Atlanta Braves.
The Emory Marketing Analytics Center (EmoryMAC) is pleased to announce its Third Annual Spring Conference featuring best-practices from prominent industry speakers and thought leadership from the school's renowned faculty.
Members of the business community are invited to Goizueta's campus March 22 for a day-long event that will combine academic theory with industry examples of successful analytics uses. Discussions will focus on areas of making marketing analytics actionable, big data and marketing analytics, website design and optimization, consumer customization and customer relationship management. The day will feature presentations and commentary provided by senior marketing leaders from various industries.
Planned presentations include speakers from the Emory faculty, Turner Broadcasting, Delta Air Lines, Home Depot and The Coca-Cola Company.
