Goizueta IMPACT, our signature approach to experiential learning, bridges theory and practice. In your first year, tackle a real business challenge for a sponsoring organization. This hands-on experience helps you stand out in your internship and equips you with real-world skills for long-term career success.

Goizueta IMPACT Two-Year MBA

  • Fall Semester

    The fall Structured Problem-Solving course builds the foundational skills of problem solving, influential communication, and managing internal and external stakeholders. All students attend Project Reveal where spring IMPACT projects and sponsors are announced. Students indicate high, medium and low interest on projects as input into a holistic team creation process, and spring IMPACT project teams are announced at a community Team Reveal event before winter break.
  • Spring Semester

    Project teams launch and begin work with students putting problem-solving skills into action with faculty advisors, 2nd-year IMPACT Coaching Fellows, and external coaches providing support. Student teams present project recommendations and compete for the Goizueta Gold grand prize at Goizueta IMPACT Showcase, a community-wide event with over 300 external business leader judges.

How Do Projects Work?

You will have the opportunity to solve an issue of strategic importance for a sponsoring organization across a variety of disciplines and industries. Throughout the semester, expert faculty and coaching resources support the teams in developing their insights and recommendations. At the end of the semester, project teams present their recommendations to panels of sponsors, other business leaders, faculty, and staff. Goizueta IMPACT Showcase brings over 300 judges to campus, providing a tremendous opportunity to connect with the broader business community and showcase our student talent.
