U. S. Military Veterans
As an individual with military experience, you have gained valuable skills that you can take with you as you transition into civilian life, including leadership, responsibility, and critical thinking. Add to that the technical, business and managerial skills that come with an MBA, and you will open up a world of career opportunities.
As a military veteran, you know the importance of putting your skills to the test every day in the field. At Goizueta, our academic approach brings business theory to life through experiential learning. You'll learn how to navigate complex and often ambiguous situations, and then build strong communication skills as you and your team present your solutions to some of the world's top faculty and industry leaders.
Goizueta is dedicated to building principled leaders who achieve not only success, but also significance. Our goal is not limited to creating business leaders. Rather, we're focused on helping students like you become well-rounded, principled leaders who can transform the business world—and society—for the better.
We recognize the value you add to our community and the advantages our program can offer to you. Goizueta's Core Values, world-class leader development, and tight-knit community offer the ideal foundation to assist you in the transition from your military background to achieving your post MBA goals.

The Goizueta Veterans Club is comprised of students across all five MBA formats. Activities each year include student/alumni networking events, events such as the Veterans' Day Celebration and Fun Run, and community service activities (past activities supporting the Wounded Warrior Project and the VA Homeless Veterans Stand-down). In addition, student members share helpful career opportunities, MBA conference information, scholarship and VA funding information, and relocation assistance for incoming students.
Goizueta students also may participate in the larger Emory University Veterans Association, comprised of veterans enrolled in other majors across the University.
Yellow Ribbon Program
Goizueta is part of the Yellow Ribbon Program, providing a fixed number of awards in each of the School's five MBA formats. The Yellow Ribbon Program is a provision of the Post 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008 (aka Chapter 33), and allows voluntary partner institutions to enter into an agreement with the Veteran's Administration to fund tuition expenses for eligible veterans. For the majority of our programs, this results in a full-tuition benefit. For more information or to apply for a Yellow Ribbon Program award, please visit our Financing Your MBA page.
Connect With a Student
Summer is a busy time for our current students, with the Two Year students on summer internship and our One Year students in their rigorous accelerated semester. However, they would still love to chat with you! If you would like to be connected to some of our current students or alumni, please contact MBA Admissions for assistance. The Goizueta Veterans Club resumes regular activity in Fall 2014.
You are also welcome to join us on campus this summer for a class visit and lunch/tour. Please register here for these opportunities.
If you have not already joined Goizueta's mailing list, please complete the form and indicate your military background so we can provide you with tailored information.
