In our accelerated One-Year MBA Program, students re-enter the workforce in 12 months, maximizing the return on their educational investment. This format is best suited for students with substantive work experience and focused career goals. A business, economics or engineering degree is preferred.
The three-semester, 12-month curriculum begins in early May with an intensive summer review of core business concepts. In August, One-Year students join second-year MBA students for two semesters of elective courses. One Year students have full access to second year electives, the MBA Career Management Center, the Goizueta Advanced Leadership Academy, Mid-Semester Modules, clubs and organizations.
The Ideal One-Year Candidate has:
- Earned an undergraduate degree in business, economics or engineering and has strong quantitative skills
- Focused post-MBA goals and substantive work experience
- An intended career path that will not require an internship
- Students pursuing joint degrees in medicine (MD/MBA), physical therapy (DPT/MBA) and law (JD/MBA) as well as candidates pursuing entrepreneurial ventures are typically well-suited for the One-Year Program
