How to Apply
Goizueta requires that all applicants complete our online application. Exceptions to this policy should be requested in writing to the MBA Admissions Office explaining the need to use a paper application.
It is not necessary to complete your application in one sitting. Until you submit your application, you may access it from any computer using the username and password that you created.
Interview
An evaluative interview is required of all applicants before an offer of admission can be extended. Interviews are offered on campus and in select cities around the world. Interviews are open to candidates until the application deadline of the round in which you apply. After that round deadline date, your application will be considered for an invitation to interview within that round. All interviews, regardless of type, are evaluated equally in the admissions process. You are encouraged to plan ahead, as interviews fill up quickly around the deadline. For more information on scheduling an interview, please visit our Interviews page.
Résumé
You must electronically submit a 1-page business résumé. The résumé should contain employment and education background. The employment section should include locations, titles, and dates, starting with your most recent job. The education section should include dates of attendance and degrees received.
Essays
Four essays must be completed and submitted for your application to be considered complete. (Only two essays are required for re-applicants.) Please visit the Essays page for details on the questions and how to submit your finished essays. Remember to review each question carefully. We consider essays to be a very important part of the application process and your opportunity to show the Admissions Committee a bit about yourself beyond the application.
GMAT Scores
Official Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) score reports must be sent to Goizueta Business School directly from the GMAT testing service. You should complete the exam and request the scores be sent by the application deadline of the round in which you are applying. GMAT Scores are valid for five years from the examination date. If you have taken the GMAT multiple times, please submit all of your scores.
Beginning in the 2011-12 admissions cycle, we will accept the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). You are encouraged to take the GMAT or GRE early in your MBA application process so that if you do not perform as well as you would like, you have the ability to retake the exam prior to any deadlines.
