Biography
Matthew Williams serves as a Director of Development I for Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. In his role, Matt will manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and implement strategies to increase philanthropic support in Georgia as well as California.
Matt most recently served as an Associate Director of Development at North Caroline State University with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, a position he held since January 2020. In his role, Matt managed a major gift portfolio and helped develop meaningful relationships with alumni, parents and friends of the University. Matt also served as a member of the University Advancement Taskforce for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and produced a series of giving webinars in partnership with central colleagues aimed at increasing the philanthropic support by historically marginalized donors.
Matt is a graduate of North Carolina State University where he was a member of the Student Government, and Alumni Association Student Ambassador Program. He is a native of North Carolina but is excited to call Atlanta his new home with his partner, Blake.
