Ishna Hall joined Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in February 2019 as assistant dean and senior director of development. In this role, Ishna serves as a member of Dean James’ senior leadership team and oversees alumni advancement and engagement, advancing the stature of the school worldwide. She is charged with driving fundraising efforts for scholarships, endowments, and general funds to benefit faculty, students, and alumni. She leads a team of major gift officers and alumni engagement directors united by the same objectives. By channeling the energy, efforts, and engagement of alumni and friends of Goizueta, Ishna ensures that, together, we Go Beyond! Prior to this role, she served as a director of development in the College of Arts and Sciences Foundation at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was part of the College’s senior leadership team. Ishna brings more than 13 years of successful fundraising experience to Goizueta, which includes extensive major gift work, campaign planning, volunteer and board management, and event planning. She has a degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
