Prior to business school, Michele worked as a project manager in the digital marketing sphere. She wanted to move into a more strategic role, such as consulting, where she could focus on process improvements and efficiencies that would help an organization improve its bottom line.
Goizueta stood out because of its focus on hands-on learning in programs such as IMPACT, our unique experiential learning course. Throughout the semester, students tackle real business concerns for corporate clients. Teams must conduct and analyze research, prepare a presentation, and communicate their findings.
“I enjoy being presented with an issue and working with a team to solve it in a short amount of time,” Michele says. “It’s challenging but fun at the same time.” For Michele, the greatest value has been this and other Goizueta courses that have challenged her to think differently — a strategic element in jump-starting a new career.
