Workshop 1: Empathy Experiments
A customer driven approach to innovation, often called design thinking, is one of the most repeatable approaches to innovation. The first critical building block in doing design thinking is empathy, to understand people (eventually customers) deeply to uncover their unmet needs. Learn some of the basics and advanced techniques of empathy and then design and launch a set of experiments to put the concepts of empathy into practice, helping your organization better understand who and what they're solving for, especially when dealing with customers. Workshop 2: Prototyping Experiments
The second critical building block in the customer driven approach to innovation, called design thinking, is prototyping. Prototyping is about bringing an idea to life, so you can put it in your customers hands before you've actually built the real solution. It is about learning early (and sometimes failing) so you do not fail later. Learn more about prototyping, then design and launch a set of experiments for yourself in the days following to put the concepts of prototyping into practice, helping your organization understand how to solve for your customers. Workshop 3: Team Experiments
While so much energy is often focused on "how" you innovate, equally important is "who" innovates. Innovation is a team sport, yet outstanding collaboration does not just happen. You can create the conditions for it to thrive. Learn some of the basics regarding innovative teams, then design and launch a set of experiments to put the concepts of innovative teams into practice, helping your teams grow more innovative along the way.
