Jeffrey A. Rosensweig

Associate Professor of Finance
Director, Global Perspectives Program

Many of you know Jeff Rosensweig as a favorite professor at Goizueta Business School. You may also know that he is touted by the media as the go-to expert on countless financial matters. Given his extraordinary teaching, writing and speaking schedule, he is still dedicated to making a personal connection with students and alumni. Professor Rosensweig demonstrates his commitment and his generosity to Goizueta through the Paul Rosensweig Global Exchange Fund. The Fellowship is in memory of his father, Paul, who was so proud of his son Jeff’s own study abroad experience as a Marshall Scholar at Oxford. Professor Rosensweig hopes that this fellowship will allow other Goizueta students to have once-in-a-lifetime international experiences as well.

Jeff Rosensweig

A Leading Authority
Jeff Rosensweig is an associate professor of International Business and Finance. He is also Director of the Global Perspectives Program at Goizueta. Jeff specializes in global strategy, global economics, and international finance. Prior to joining Emory in January of 1988, he was Senior International Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Jeff has also taught at M.I.T. and in the economics department and in the School of Management at Yale University.. His current research focuses on business linkages with the emerging global economy, the implications of globally divergent demographic trends for business, and the global economic crisis: its future path and implications for business and investing.

Playing an Instrumental Role in International Outreach
Each year, the Paul Rosensweig Global Exchange Fellowship provides one two year Full-Time MBA student with the funding to travel abroad. Fellows may use the funds toward semester, summer, or dual-degree study abroad or independent or directed research outside the U.S. Living abroad, students meet the challenges of cultural immersion head-on. Study, internships and travel push them to learn how to lead in the midst of new languages and customs. The result: leaders who understand and thrive in today’s global economy.

Why your Gift is Critical
Though the Paul Rosensweig Fellowship continues to meaningfully help MBA students study abroad, rising travel costs means that it contributes less and less to the total price of study each year. That is why we encourage you to help us make it possible for students to benefit from study abroad by giving to this initiative. Our goal is to raise at least $50,000 annually, enabling us to fully cover the costs of up to two Paul Rosensweig fellows each year.
