Eric Kramer

Developing Leadership Skills at Goizueta
Eric Kramer was working in technology when a calling to do more led him to join the Peace Corps in 2004. He traveled to Ghana, where he worked as an adviser on ecotourism projects that brought both revenue and economic assistance to the West African nation.
When Kramer decided to pursue an MBA, he was drawn to Goizueta's strong academic programs and culture of ethics and service. Kramer immersed himself in that culture and was chosen as a fellow of the Goizueta Advanced Leadership Academy, a program at the school designed to develop principled leaders through experiential learning and a focus on servant leadership. He also served as branch president of NetImpact, a global association of MBA students committed to social responsibility.
Since his graduation, Kramer works for Chevron's marketing division in a unique position that rotates him into different departments every six months, lending new ideas to the development of approaches and technologies in biofuels, marketing strategy, and infrastructure and supply. He chose Chevron because the company's core values echo those he found at Emory and because of his passion to find successful solutions for the world's growing energy problems.
