Biography
Vic Anand joined Goizueta Business School in the fall of 2012 from Cornell University. He expects to complete his PhD in accounting from Cornell in 2013. He also holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon and an SB in mechanical engineering from MIT (1995). Anand’s professional experience includes serving as a senior analyst with Science Applications International Corp. (2001–2003), a senior consultant with Deloitte Consulting (2000–2001), and a financial analyst (1997–1998) and manufacturing engineer (1995–1997) with Ford Motor Company. Anand’s current research interests focus on the horizon of goals as applied in accounting settings. He has also examined the robustness of cost systems. His personal interests include motorcycling, mountain biking, running, and computer programming.
