Professor Robertson joined the Goizueta Business School faculty in 1998, after serving on the faculties of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and London Business School. She completed her Ph.D. in sociology at UCLA.
Diana's research interests center on issues in business ethics, particularly the impact of the firm on employee decision-making about ethical issues. Her work examines how organizations influence the ethical behavior of employees through formal ethics initiatives, such as codes of ethics, and via other organizational variables, including organizational structure, pressure to perform, and compensation and control systems. At present she is exploring how salespeople and purchasing agents respond to organizational variables as they make decisions about the ethical issues faced in their day-to-day work. Additional research focuses on exploration of the theoretical basis of ethics codes and cross-national differences in corporate codes of ethics.
Diana's work has been published in Organization Science, Human Relations, The Journal of International Business Studies, Sloan Management Review, and Business Ethics Quarterly.
