What are past participants saying about the Goizueta Directors Institute?
“I have attended and spoken at numerous conferences and this was the most enjoyable and educational course that I have been involved in. The combination of incredibly accomplished speakers, classmates with great backgrounds and experiences, and timely and topical discussions made for a potent combination. I will encourage all my fellow board members to attend the course.”
“Personally, I thought it was a terrific introduction to the industry, its challenges, and what a director should both look for and watch out for. I found the speakers uniformly good and the interaction between panels and audience excellent – definitely worth the trip.”
“I found it very worthwhile, both for Board perspectives and for further insight into the industry, particularly on nuclear safety culture. Speakers and panels were all terrific, with very broad diversity of background in the participant mix making for good discussions, with great case studies. Very well organized by INPO and the Goizueta staff. Would highly recommend it.”
“I thought the presentations, discussions, and general organization of the entire program were excellent. Clearly, the caliber of participants is both evident of the value of the event as well as the basic reason it is valuable. This was my first time to participate and I was quite impressed.”
“Very good discussions on problems and crisis management. Overall themes of independence (intrusive scrutiny), strategy, and safety were well developed in meetings. Excellent speakers and case studies.”
