Emory University's Goizueta Business School benefits from its connections with Atlanta, the business hub of the Southeast and a thriving global city where professionals work, live and succeed. Our location in Atlanta means that as a BBA student you will not have to go very far to be in the center of commerce. We are situated among more than 1,000 international businesses, including the world headquarters of CNN, The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Air Lines, Newell-Rubbermaid, The Home Depot, and UPS.
Rated as Inc. Magazine's number one city for business, Atlanta draws the world's most-celebrated business minds to the city, and Goizueta brings them to the students. When Michael Dell, Howard Schultz, Kenneth Cole, and Warren Buffet speak on-campus, BBA students are listening. In the classroom, inspiration and insight will come to you from the many speakers faculty invite to help bring course material to life. In classes like marketing, ideation, consulting and operations, you will be able to work on projects hand-in-hand with businesses, gaining real-world expertise in conjunction with academic training.
In our Applied Integrated Marketing Communications course taught by Professor Reshma Shah, students act as consultants, developing a strategic campaign for The Coca-Cola Company.
During the 2009-2010 academic year, Michael Seidman and Adam Hamberg, both current BBA students graduating in 2012, began a volunteer initiative to bring Healing Spaces, a New Jersey-based nonprofit organization, to the Atlanta community.
The Goizueta Service Organization (GSO) is a student founded and led community service initiative that pairs Goizueta students with needed projects in the surrounding community.
