The BBA-CMC took significant steps throughout the summer and recruitment season to establish and maintain key employer relationships and will continue to focus our efforts on career preparation and employer relationship building. In the midst of one of the most difficult summer internship seasons on record, our BBAs proved to be resilient, facing the adversity and obtaining meaningful experiences. Employers continuously express how Goizueta Business School BBAs make an important impact and contribution to their organizations.
As the market continues to grow, the BBA-CMC advocates 3 essential keys for continued students’ success: Preparation, Creating Connections, and Persistence. Focusing on preparation and creating connections, the BBA-CMC has added new career resources to our current menu of student services.
Career Preparation:
Creating Connections:
Although employment signs are better, the job market remains competitive. Creating connections continues to be a major focus for BBA-CMC providing networking resources and increasing employer engagement activities. Additionally, Goizueta parents have been crucial factors in helping our students establish their network foundations. We appreciate the dedication of parents in creating connections for our future business leaders. As parents, if you have internship and job opportunities within your company, we welcome the opportunity to promote your positions to our BBA students.
Our annual summer NYC Trek offered over 40 students the opportunity to meet with top financial and business firms. Alumni and company representatives hosted our students, providing them valuable industry insight and potential employment opportunities. We thank the following firms for their participation: Acquis Consulting, BlackRock, Bloomberg, Barclays, BMO Capital Markets, BNY ConvergEx, Citi, Centerview Partners, Duff & Phelps, FactSet, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Lazard, Macy’s, Mercer, NBA, and RBC Capital Markets.
