Thanks in part to our membership in the Partnership in International Management, a global consortium of top business schools, Goizueta Business school recently added six new study abroad destination schools for BBA students: Corvinus University of Budapest in Hungary, IDC Herzliya in Israel, Koc University in Turkey, Rotterdam School of Management in The Netherlands, Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden, and Thammasat Business School in Thailand.
Each of these destinations was carefully screened for compatibility with Goizueta's curricular approach, as well as expansion into areas of the globe of interest to BBAs. Typically, students who study at new destinations do more preparatory leg work, because historical information, such as prior students' experience reports, is not yet available. But think of the bravery of those first students who traveled to Singapore Management University in 2002 or to University of Economics Prague in 2004. Their courage made dozens of future BBAs' experiences possible!
If your student is a trail-blazer ready to pave the way to a new academic frontier, he or she may consider adding one or more of these partner schools to a list of program preferences. Study abroad applications for Fall 2010 participation will be due in February. More information about all of our study abroad options for BBAs can be found at Planning to Study Abroad?
