One-Year Career Preparation

During the Summer Experience, One-Years take Professional Development which helps prepare them in eight class sessions for the short-term career search process as well as for life-long career management. By the end of the summer, students have identified their job search strategy, started networking and begun practicing for employer interviews. One-Years have tailored workshops on Personal Branding, Writing Effective Cover Letters, Cracking the Case Interview and Valuation Interviews, and also participate in One-Year Alumni Panels, Summer Practice Networking receptions and Alumni Mock Interviews.

Our One-Year students also benefit from the "Summer Company Networking Night" which gives them first access to recruiters. In addition to our powerful corporate and alumni network, our One-Years have the full attention of the Goizueta Business Librarians as well as the Career Management Center Staff during their summer with us. Each student has a Career Coach who mentors them through their career search process, ensuring the entire Goizueta community is invested in students' success.
