Student Life

Goizueta offers one of the most personal MBA experiences in the nation. In fact, if you ask students what they enjoy most about Goizueta, they will often tell you it's the supportive community that fosters close relationships among students, faculty and alumni. From faculty who connect students to internships and careers to the School's dean who personally mentors students, this is a community that wants you to succeed and will encourage and challenge you every step of the way.

When We Say It's Personal, We Mean It

With a student/faculty ratio of 5:1, you may want to know if Goizueta also has a competitive environment. Sure, after all, we are a world-class business school. But, in almost every case, the competitive situations you'll face are focused on building your skills, not tearing you down. That's because, at Goizueta, we believe the best business leaders are at once tough competitors and great collaborators.

Forging Friendships and Futures

Sometimes you see it in the form of a quick hello in the hallway, and other times it emerges over a cup of coffee in the campus cafe. Goizueta is a tight-knit community that thrives on building lifelong friendships, sharing knowledge and learning from one another. Every Thursday, you'll find nearly the entire community assembled in Goizueta's beautiful outdoor courtyard. Different companies sponsor these Thursday gatherings, which are designed to build community and connections. And because we're located in Atlanta, our students can enjoy these great outdoor gatherings all year long!

Goizueta is a place where classmates come from all over the nation and world, creating in-depth conversations inside and outside the classroom. Whether you are collaborating on a project with a diverse team or taking part in clubs and organizations including Black MBA Association, Hispanic Business Association, Goizueta Women in Business, and Goizueta Pride Association, you'll discover a broad range of perspectives and backgrounds.

Building Community from Day One

At orientation each year, new Full-Time MBA students head to Camp Twin Lakes, a challenging ropes course that offers students the chance to get to know one another, build trust and tackle leadership challenges to prepare them for the journey to come. And each fall, student teams work together on a project with local nonprofit agency, Hands On Atlanta, to help support our community.
