Overview of the Role

Product Marketing incorporates managing and developing the strategic direction of a product and/or services. Product managers investigate and develop products for an organization, define a product's intended demographic, evaluate competitive products and review a product's fit within a company's business model. They oversee the product-life cycles of a single or suite of brands. The role requires ability to use information to make integrative decisions and a solid understanding of the impact of marketing programs.
