Today’s global economy requires students to have a powerful understanding of business on an international scale. That's why, during the course of the program, more than 80 percent of our Full-Time MBA students take part in an international mid-semester module, complete an international internship or special project, or elect to study abroad.
In addition to opportunities such as overseas travel and global internships, every Goizueta student can select from courses in their area of interest that are specially designed to offer a global perspective. For example, students in Information and Global Capital Markets are challenged to develop familiarity with the global oil and gas industry. In Multinational Firms & Strategy students explore the design and control systems of multinational enterprises and the management of a multicultural work force.
“It seemed like this amazing opportunity to take what I was learning in the classroom, these great business skills, and apply it to a real‐world situation.” |
Natalie Reese, Two‐Year 11MBA |
In the middle of the spring semester, students can take a short hiatus from classes to take part in faculty-led travel modules that explore a current topic within the context of an international setting and focus on business leadership in other countries. Recent trips have included Brazil, China, UAE, Egypt, Israel, South Africa, Thailand, and Vietnam.
