We live in a society where organizations are the engines of technology and social innovation, the foundations of careers and the basis of social diversity. The study of organizations is at the cutting edge of the social sciences – a multi-disciplinary endeavor that draws on the disciplines of psychology, social psychology, sociology and economics. Goizueta students learn how to utilize a wide array of research techniques, ranging from experiments to longitudinal event history analysis, to computer simulations and ethnographic methods.

Social Enterprise @ Goizueta

Social Enterprise @ Goizueta gives students the opportunity to work one-on-one with Atlanta's non-profit and for-profit organizations that are striving to make a positive impact in the world. Students work with non-profits interested in using business models to pursue global changes in areas such as microfinance, healthcare, and more. Other students work with for-profit organizations focused on using market-based strategies to achieve social purposes such as sustainability, delivering products that serve disadvantaged populations, and lending financial supporting to non-profit efforts around the world.

Washington Campus

Emory is one of 16 major university business schools that comprise The Washington Campus Consortium. These schools are committed to educating MBA students on the decision-making processes of the U.S. government. This unique elective course called The Washington Campus is an immersive, week-long seminar held in Washington, D.C. These MBA residencies are designed to equip students with the understanding necessary to anticipate, influence and respond intelligently to government initiatives.
