Connecting with Companies

Your first job opportunity after earning your MBA can make a huge difference in your lifetime career path. At Goizueta, we provide numerous on- and off-campus recruiting options to help ensure that your first post-MBA job is the right one for you.

Résumé Books

Through a nationally utilized database, our MBA Résumé Books offer an efficient way of matching each student's background with a company's hiring needs. Because of Goizueta's small size, the CMC is able to know each student as a unique individual and can better focus recruiting efforts to fit his or her needs.

On-Campus Recruiting

Many of the most prestigious global companies come to Goizueta to recruit and hire our MBA students. This process is managed online from beginning to end. Students can review posted positions prior to uploading their résumés for particular companies to review. There are many opportunities for you to connect with companies when they come to campus.

Corporate Presentations

Learn about a company's corporate culture, employment opportunities and hiring process before you apply for their positions by attending an on-campus corporate presentation hosted by select companies.

Informal Corporate Events

Get to know recruiters before the interview, in a more relaxed setting, through company-hosted events.

Goizueta Career Connection

This program features a day of experiential learning led by professionals in marketing, consulting, finance, real estate and other specialized industries using real projects from their companies. Participants cap off the day with a casual networking event where students mingle with alumni and corporate associates.

Off-Campus Recruiting

There are several off-campus employment events that allow students to access multiple employers at once, including:

Diversity Employment Conferences

National conferences offer students the opportunity to network with corporate representatives from more than 200 participating companies interested in meeting a diverse group of MBA candidates. Prior to these conferences the CMC staff holds a mock conference with second year students representing their internship companies. This allows students to practice their elevator pitches and prepares them for these unique recruiting environments.

Some of the conferences include:

  • National Black MBA Conference
  • National Society of Hispanic MBA Conference
  • Global MBA Employment Conference
  • National Association of Women MBAs
  • Reaching Out Conference
  • National Association of Asian MBAs
  • MBA Veterans Conference

Southeastern MBA Interview Forum

This event provides an opportunity for employers to interview candidates from five of the top graduate business schools in the southeast in one place on one day. For the past two years the event has been held in Atlanta, allowing Goizueta students easy access to a wider range of hiring firms.

Offer and Negotiations Review

Negotiating is a skill often overlooked, but of extreme value both during the offer process and throughout your career. Goizueta provides workshops and benchmarking data to allow students to make the best possible decisions after receiving employment offers.
