Program Structure

As an Evening student, you will take nine core courses to build your fundamental business knowledge and select eight electives from dozens of Goizueta electives or approved electives from other schools within Emory. These electives give you the ability to build a functional depth in certain key business areas. In addition, you will complete three co-curricular modules: Management Practice, Leadership Development and the International Module.

Program Length & Schedule

The standard length of the Evening program is 32 months. However, elective courses may be taken earlier in the program to finish in as few as 27 months. But by design, you may take up to five years to obtain your degree. Classes are scheduled on weeknights beginning at 6:30 p.m. Core courses are typically held on Monday and Wednesday evenings while elective courses are offered Monday through Thursday evenings. Each course meets once per week. As an Evening MBA student you will experience your core courses in a cohort structure, but take electives with students from other class years and the Full-Time MBA program.
