This course, held during the first three semesters of the program, provides you the opportunity to develop and practice a crucial managerial ability: solving a business problem via critical thinking and analysis with ambiguous or less than perfect information at one's disposal. This course is a vehicle for strengthening the links between academic theory, effective business practices, and insightful skill integration across each discipline of study. It will expose you to various career paths early in your time at Goizueta, and will help you build essential skills to frame problems, discern the data you need to analyze a situation, make an evidence-based recommendation, and appropriately present a convincing case for your decision.
At Goizueta, the idea of creating principled leaders isn't relegated to a single course or a passing notion, it's infused into every aspect of your MBA experience. Every student participates in our Leadership Development course. You'll delve into the key values that drive principled, effective leaders.
