At Goizueta, the idea of creating principled leaders isn't relegated to a single course or a passing notion, it's infused into every aspect of your MBA experience. Every student participates in our Leadership Development course. You'll delve into the core values that drive principled, effective leaders. You'll also explore other key leadership areas such as self-awareness, resilience, high performing teams, influencing others, and giving and receiving feedback. From there, you'll dig into more advanced topics, such as leading and facilitating teams, coaching, mentoring, and ethics.
Become the Leader You're Destined to Be
At the core of leadership is character. It's more than lessons learned from a textbook or trending topics in professional organizations. At Goizueta, we aim to develop principled leaders for global enterprise from the start of your MBA experience continuing through graduation.
At Program Immersion, you will learn the core values that drive principled, effective leaders -- the timeless qualities of courage, integrity, accountability, rigor, diversity, team, and community. With that foundation, you will then have leader development infused into every aspect of your MBA curriculum. You will also explore other key leadership areas such as self-awareness, resilience, high performing teams, influencing others without direct authority, and driving performance by giving and receiving feedback. From there, you will dive into more advanced topics, such as leading and managing teams, coaching for success, mentoring, and ethics.
